UltraTech Cement has announced the inauguration of its expanded Sonar Bangla II cement plant. Reuters has reported that the expansion has more than doubled the plant’s capacity to 1.3Mt/yr. It increases UltraTech Cement’s total installed capacity by 0.5% to 131Mt/yr.
